Personal Profile
Bee Chuan is a seasoned governance and assurance leader with more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, specialising in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, and Corporate Governance.
Bee Chuan joined Liberty in 2022, prior to this role he has driven significant governance enhancements across the region, strengthening internal audit maturity through senior roles such as Chief Internal Auditor, and building robust Risk & Compliance capabilities as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, where he enhanced regulatory alignment and reinforced risk culture across the organisation.
Bee Chuan’s experience spans across multiple markets including Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand bringing regional exposure and a proven ability to navigate diverse regulatory landscapes and complex business environments.
Bee Chuan holds a BSc (Dual Honours) in Economics & Accounting from Queen’s University of Belfast (UK) and an MBA in Finance from Nottingham Trent University.
